TUFF Australia has just delivered nine specialised vehicles for Toowoomba Region Council. TUFF worked with Black Truck Sales and Toowoomba Region Council to deliver the complex build which included TUFF bullbars, tray bodies, recovery winches, 200-litre stainless tanks, fold-out steps and large cabinets with roller doors.

According to TUFF Group General Manager, Mark Casey the TUFF-built Ivecos were designed to be ‘go-anywhere’ vehicles for the Council’s pest management and bushland parks teams.
“We consulted with the end-users to make sure the vehicles were fitted-out to suit particular needs – for example, special fold outsteps were designed by our engineer and fabricators to provide safe access to the four-wheel-drive vehicles
“TUFF built its reputation with our extreme duty bullbars over the past 18 years and three years ago we started making trays due to demand from our clients around Australia. This part of our offering has taken off and we have since added several sheet metal fabricators to our team so we can make everything from a dog box to complex bespoke canopies for adventurers,” he added.
TUFF Group is located in Toowoomba, Queensland and employs 80 staff in its fabrication and coatings businesses.
